Programme

The programme will include plenary sessions with keynote speakers of international renown addressing the conference's major themes:
"Managing Change", "Targeting Populations", "Reaching Youth"

Major Sessions will provide a platform for presentations of contributed papers related to these subjects allowing additional exchange and dialogue.
The traditional sessions of the ICAA Sections will regroup additional papers received from participants under specific themes selected by the co-chairs of the respective ICAA Sections.

Cyprus

Cyprus is the third-largest island in the Mediterranean and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, attracting over 2.4 million tourists per year.

Nicosia

The capital of Cyprus has the dubious honour of being the last divided capital city on earth. The heart of the city, enclosed by 16th century Venetian walls, is dotted with museums, ancient churches and medieval buildings preserving the nostalgic atmosphere of years past.

Lemessos, Curium

The major archaeological site in Cyprus was one of the old kingdoms of Cyprus. Remains of its various settlements include a Greek temple, houses with superb mosaics, theater which is stands high up on the cliffs overlooking the blue Mediterranean sea, one of the most breathtaking sites in Cyprus and a stadium of the Roman era.

Larnaca

The international gateway to Cyprus, being its second port and having an international airport. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, and has plenty of historical sightseeing on offer to complement its deep-blue sea, bright sandy beaches and reliably sunny skies.

Paphos

The city is built on the spot where the Greek Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, was born. Originally built as a Byzantine fort to protect the harbour, it was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century, then dismantled by the Venetians in 1570, who found themselves unable to defend it against the Ottomans, who in their turn restored and strengthened it after they captured the island.
